Then just flipping the switch to turn them all of at once when not in use, saves us a little. Also the water heater if you have one I would lower the temp? Maybe use those space saver bulbs my husband buys them for our lights and it's suppose to save you quite a bit. Not much but i hope this helps :D Hope you have a great rest of the week! many blessingsJacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16439391373390883239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6083284564509209798.post-43160145307335110932008-09-23T16:24:00.000-04:002008-09-23T16:24:00.000-04:00How about adjusting your water heater temperature?...How about adjusting your water heater temperature? I read somewhere that you can save (I think - I am remembering this right) up to 1/3 of your costs by using power strips. We have our TVs and VCR/DVD players, stereos, microwave and computers on the strips. Other appliances just get unplugged when not in use. We also use compact fluorescents and I am a stickler about turning off lights when you leave a room! The dryer is the biggest energy hog - so just using a clothesline like you are doing saves tons!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6083284564509209798.post-25083265297084201462008-09-23T11:08:00.000-04:002008-09-23T11:08:00.000-04:00It is getting cooler here in the mountains of WV t...It is getting cooler here in the mountains of WV this morning we had 50 degrees when I took the kids to the bus. I love my three, and am hoping they don't bother the neighbors too much as they wander the neighborhood. So far, so good - everybody else around us seems to love having them "visit".Sadgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01953324909028095434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6083284564509209798.post-34766932051293069562008-09-22T13:42:00.000-04:002008-09-22T13:42:00.000-04:00Nancy, do you guys use compact flourescent light b...Nancy, do you guys use compact flourescent light bulbs?
