Speedy Gonzales

While I was in my bathroom hanging clothes to dry I saw a lizard on the screen window. I ran to get my son, cause he loves them. He had one for a pet for a while.

When my son tried to pick her up, she ran. Mitchell thought the lizard was a girl, that is why I say her. She was quite fast so he named her Speedy Gonzales after the fast mouse in the cartoons.

He put a stick up to her and she got on. He held her for a while and then he kissed her goodbye. Yuck! He kisses all the animals. At least he loves them.

He put her back on the screen where she came from and told her to stay away from the guineas! He wanted her to be safe. He can be so sweet sometimes.

You know, lizards aren't my thing, but that one is really cute!

Also, it's adorable that he kissed her! He has great compassion for animals, and that's a wonderful thing. He'll make a good husband and father someday.

How sweet your son is! My son also had a lizzard as a pet. I'm sure he will be a very sweet and compassionate young man as he grows! Enjoy him everyday, they grow up too quickly. Blessings, Kathleen
