Sunday's Song- He Touched Me

He Touched Me

Shackled by a heavy burden,
'Neath a load of guilt and shame.
Then the hand of Jesus touched me,
And now I am no longer the same.

He touched me, Oh He touched me,
And oh the joy that floods my soul!
Something happened and now I know,
He touched me and made me whole.

Since I met this blessed Savior,
Since He cleansed and made me whole,
I will never cease to praise Him,
I'll shout it while eternity rolls.

He touched me, Oh He touched me,
And oh the joy that floods my soul!
Something happened and now I know
He touched me and made me whole.

Nancy, I love this song! Everytime we sing it (in our Easter cantata), it truly moves me! The words are so powerful!

Oh, and I love your new look!

Have a blessed day!

I love this song too. I can just hear it being sung as I read these lyrics.

This is such a beautiful song. Our pastor has us sing it frequently. We haven't been to church for several weeks. These words just soothe my soul.

A great hymn. I have many running through my head right now due to the amount of singing I heard this weekend.

We had the churches of the Seward Peninsula's spring conference here. There a meetings all day and then singing all night. It's so great to see so many people from all over the area worshiping together. It's a little taste of heaven.

Nancy,
This is also one of my favorite hymns. I miss hearing the old hymns in church.
