About a week ago I was reading another blog and there was a recipe for monkey bread. Now, I've ate it before, but never made it. Since I remembered how good it was last time, I wanted to make it. But, as it turns out, I didn't have a bundt pan, so I used a loaf pan instead.
It's so easy! Here are a few pictures of me making it. First, I dipped the biscuits in the mixture.
Then I layered them in the pan.
Then I poured the buttery mixture on top.
This is what it looked like when it was done baking. I think it would have done better in a bundt pan because it was still kind of doughy in the bottom. But, it was still as good as I remembered!
If you want the complete recipe, you can find it at A Mayberry State of Mind.

I've heard of Monkey Bread for years, but have never tasted it. I will have to try this recipe. I bet your house smelled wonderful. Is that a cow potholder I see?????
Oh YUM! This looks delicious and it also looks like something the day care kids would enjoy making! To tell you the truth, I'm fed up with cupcakes around here, so something different would be great for them to make...
But of course, I'll need to make the recipe myself first, 'cause my mama didn't raise no fools!
;-)
oops... sorry...
Wow, that looks really good. Is it messy to eat?
I haven't had any monkey bread in years-but now I want some : )
Neat! I have never heard of this before but it looks good.
Hi, I happened upon your blog. That monkey bread looks delicious. I am going to try it myself. Thank you for posting. You have a very pretty blog here.
Ah, yes, in my gluten days I used to love that!!
Oooooooooooooooooo, looks delicious.....
and sinful!
It looks good, but is probably not good for my diet!
Oh lordy- now that you've told us how to make it, I have no excuse not to try.... LOL
I'll bet your kitchen smelled heavenly, Nancy!
I usually use a tube pan and when you get half of the dough in, put some of the buttery mix over it and then put the rest of the dough on top and some more butter. Looks yummy!
It's been years since I have tried Monkey bread! Thanks for sharing! blessings,Kathleen
That looks yummy! I will have to try to make that one time!
I have been fishing, recently. Although I do hope so, soon. That is just an old picture, I found in our photobucket. I just put it on my blog, because most of my friends, don't know that I DO fish.
