Beach Trip Days 2 and 3

I meant to post yesterday, but after getting home from the beach I was tired, so I took a nap. Shame on me! I am going to put the last 2 days of our vacation in this one post. It was gorgeous after we got rid of tropical storm Danny. On Saturday we played some more in the ocean and had an awesome time! I felt like a kid again!

We also swam in the outdoor pool. Hunter loved the pool since he could walk across it by himself.

After we rested we went to The Museum of Coastal Carolina which is just a few blocks from Ocean Isle Inn.

They have a lot of cool exhibits like model ships, shark teeth, a wave machine, snakes, and our favorite, the touch tank. We were able to touch live sea creatures. There was a puffer fish who puffed up about twice his size and he had the most beautiful eyes.

On Sunday morning, we got up bright and early before the sunrise, to walk the beach before we had to leave.

We found some really cool shells that morning.

Hunter finally warmed up to the ocean and started playing in the small waves. It was wonderful watching the sunrise. A perfect ending to a great vacation!

If you want a great place to stay at the beach I highly recommend Ocean Isle Inn. They were very welcoming to us and have a beautiful property in quiet Ocean Isle Beach.

Thanks Ocean Isle Inn for inviting us!

I'm jealous! I wish I was at the beach. It's been so cold here - last night it got down to 50 degrees. In August!

Isn't it funny how a vacation tires us out? After a vacation I need a break to recover from the vacation!

Looks like a very fun family time.

Glad you all had a great time!
Nothing wrong with a nap. I sneak one in every chance I get.
