30 Day Challenge

I'm joining in with Susanne at Truly Captivating for a 30 day challenge to encourage our husbands. This is great since I just finished the True Woman makeover. I hope it will be a great help to me.

To give you an idea of what this is all about I am posting the first day's instructions.

To refresh your memory, here's the challenge for the next 30 days:

* You can't say anything negative about your husband . . . to your husband, or to anyone else.

* Say something that you admire or appreciate about your husband . . . to your husband . . . and to someone else.

Day 1: To help you get started, have you ever thanked your husband for "choosing you" above all other women? He found you attractive as a person, and appreciated you. Though many circumstances in your marriage may have changed, let your husband know that you are glad God led you together, and that you want to be a blessing to him for the rest of your marriage.

One of the best opportunities to express your gratitude is first thing in the morning. How do you greet your husband each morning? Is he confident in your love? Give him a "wake up call" that he'll never forget--a big "I love you" and an "I'm so glad I'm your wife!"

"The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life." (Proverbs 31:11-12)

Today's challenge sounds easy, but the part about not saying anything negative for a whole month. Now, that just sounds impossible to me! I am going to do my best, though! We will be posting our thoughts at the halfway point and at the end of the challenge. Please visit Susanne at Truly Captivating for more details.

What a wonderful idea! At first I thought it sounded too easy... but then I realized that I hardly ever tell the Old Guy just how much I appreciate him.
I used to... but then I stopped.
And saying negative stuff?
I'm guilty!
I WILL try to do better!!

Thanks for the wonderful idea, my friend. :-)

Oooo, I love this challenge! I love my husband so stinking much but I do get mad at him a time or two. Hmmm, I am going to try to not say a negative thing about him to him or anyone else. What a great and positive way to be!!
