30 Day Husband Encouragement Challenge Wrap-Up

Yesterday was the end of our 30 day husband encouragement challenge sponsored by Susanne at Truly Captivating.  If you remember we had a challenge for each day, and also, we were not supposed to say anything negative to or about our husband.

At the halfway point, I had only really made one mistake and I was determined to not make any more.  Well, things did not quite work out that way.  Life got in the way, and a couple times I was more snappy than I should have been.  I've realized I can't be perfect 100% of the time, I'm not even sure why I thought I could be.  But, I can start right back over after my mistakes and try again.

Even though I've made a few mistakes along the way, I've done much better this month than before.  My husband has told me over and over that he has enjoyed this month so much!  As a result of me doing this challenge, my husband has been more attentive, loving, and helpful.  It has been a great help to us and if you didn't join in this challenge with us, I highly recommend you signing up and trying it yourself.  It's so easy, they just send you one e-mail every day for 30 days.  If you did this challenge with us, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Hi, thanks for clearing up the good and bad planting days. That was what the hubs thought you meant, but we weren't sure. Corn almost always needs to be fertilized after it is planted. If you are ever unclear about how much pesticide to apply, don't be afraid to ask your local hardware dealer (not Lowe's they don't have a clue) or go into CPS (used to be Royster) or a Southern States dealer. They will tell you how much and what works best.

You pic below is too cute!

Nancy, thats great, I joined a little later and never knew about the challenge. I can see how difficult it would be with the day to day stress, sometimes we take our loved ones for granted with out even knowing and and saying things we should'nt ought too. I find myself stressed so much lately that sometimes when my husband says something I node and then don't even remember what he said. I think I should definately try or atleast attempt this challenge and see where God takes me :0) Wonderful idea. Hope this day finds you well.

Blessings,
Heidi
