Celebrating Earth Hour
Saturday night our family celebrated Earth Hour by cutting all the lights and tvs off and going outside.
My oldest son had been wanting to roast marshmallows, so he drug all the old limbs and branches into where we are planning to plant our garden and my husband started a bonfire.
I went and got all the things needed to make smores. We used to make them all the time in scouts and Mitchell had really missed them.
Hunter didn't really care for the smores or roasted marshmallows. So, he just kicked back with some candy. In my chair! He kept stealing it from me, even though he had his own. He had been playing in the dirt and boy was he a mess!
I actually remembered to get a picture with me in it! Me and my gorgeous, wild boys! Gotta love them!
We had such a great time! We're going to have to do this more often!

It does look like fun. I remember when our boys were small and loved to camp out and camp fires.
Your Earth Hour looks like a hit.
Love the pictures!
Have a great day.

What a neat idea! It's going to start warming up here, so hopefully bonfires will be coming soon! :-)
Oh my word.. I must have gotten so wrapped up in my little tea party, that I forgot all about THIS!! Don't get me wrong.. I love serving tea on Tuesdays, but I would have loved roasting marshmallows like you all did! Looks like so much fun! ~tina
Looks like you all had a great evening. I can't wait till the weather warms up a bit more so that we can enjoy our evenings this way too!
Aww that was so neat Nancy. Your photos are fabulous. You're doing an excellent job of teaching your boys. So much fun and all for a good cause:) Can't beat that. Hugs~Carol
