Sunday's Song- In The Garden

Here's today's hymn.  I hope you enjoy it and have a beautiful Sunday.

In The Garden

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.

Refrain
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

Refrain
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.

Refrain
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

That is a beautiful song. I have to admit i love walking in the garden and praying to God, but NOT while the dew is still on the roses, I am not a morning person..now a little later in the day, or even shortly BEFORE the dew falls..

Thank-you Nancy for your kind comments and well wishes for our son. Your prayers helped protect his daughters and that is very special to me.

Hi Nancy! A beautiful Sunday Song today! I, myself do a lot of walking, and I find that sometimes it is the BEST time for prayer!.. Of course you have to remember to still pay attention to traffic! (0; God still wants you to watch out for the crazy drivers out there!... It's been a chilly weekend here, so I'm hoping to maybe get a little baking in today. We'll see if time allows. Hope you and yours are enjoying a wonderful weekend! ~tina

Oh my goodness Nancy. My mom would sing this to me as she rocked me in the rocking chair in the evenings. I must have been 4 or 5 years old. She passed away when I was 14 years old and this is one of the good memories I have of her. Thanks for the memories:) Hugs~Carol
