Our Garden 2010 - Update 1

Our garden seems to be doing really well so far.

The okra, watermelon, and cantaloupe are small, but looking good.  So, are the green beans.

One of the cucumbers has blooms on it.  The zucchini are big, but no blooms yet.

The first squash that I planted are huge and have blooms and little squash.

It won't be long before we have some fried squash for supper!

I was worried the lettuce wouldn't produce since it's been so hot, but tonight, I picked some and we were able to have a salad from the garden.  My hubby said it was light and so much better than store bought lettuce.

How is your garden?

Thanks for peaking in at my blog today. Your garden is going to be amazing when it is in full bloom. You have such a large area to plant so your are lucky. I hope you get down to HH island one day as it really is so pretty.

Love your garden! Ours isn't planted yet, but it should be in the next couple weeks...I'm getting anxious for it! :-)

it looks like they made a comeback from the chickens. Lovely looking salad there at the end. Can't wait to try one myself, hopefully we'll find a nice place and I can really garden. This is looking great! Congrats.

Your garden looks great!
Mine hasn't sprung to life. YET!
I can't wait till it does.
I've only grown lettuce once and it was bitter. I haven't tried growing it since.
You are making me want to try it again, though.
