Recycling Wood

We took down some fencing at Barb's house a couple weeks ago.  We are recycling everything she has and using it at our house to help get her ready for her move.  For instance, most of the shed I posted about the other day, used to be a chicken coop at her house.

My chickens were very interested in what we were building this time.  They thought maybe we were building a new pen for them.  They were happy to learn they can keep free-ranging, lol.

This fencing used to be around her yard at her home.  Down here, she'll be using it for a dog run for her outside dog.  The day we started putting it up it was around 100 degrees.  So, if we all look a little sweaty that would be why.

We started last Saturday and finished up Sunday night.  I think it will be a great place for her dog.  Next week I'll show you our next project.

Wow that was quick and sure looks good. I bet her dog will love it and your chickens will even more since the dog won't be chasing them. :)

You've been busy! I love the fence and the shed - and how wonderful you could recycle the wood! We built our second barn out of mostly recycled materials-the only thing we had to buy was the siding. It took us over a year to find all the wood....but it was oh so worth it!
