What A Difference

Just a couple weeks ago, you could find Hunter and Adam on the trampoline all the time.  It was still in the 60's here.  Hunter was warm enough then to just wear shorts and no shirt.  Even I was still wearing shorts.

Well, it's gotten way colder!  We've had lows in the teens.  Hunter tried at first going out with no shirt and no shoes, although I tried to tell him it was cold.  He quickly came back and bundled up in a shirt, jacket, socks, shoes and mismatched gloves.  Gosh it's hard keeping track of them.  He is in, out, in, out, and in again, in such a short period of time and each time he throws his jacket and gloves all over the place.

He doesn't mind the cold weather as long as he's bundled up like that.  He stays outside way longer than any of the other kids.  They get cold very quickly.  But he's out there still riding his 4 wheeler and chasing chickens.

Awww... Bless his heart! He's tougher than I am, for sure then! It's so cold right now, here in NY that I dread just taking the dog out for three minutes!! I really have to bundle up, just to do THAT!... Love how you decorated your blog header, so CUTE!!! ~tina

Mine stayed out longer when they were little too. I think they just love the outside so much that they tune out the cold. Stay warm! I have been freezing. Didn't love the sleet and snow we had last week. Way too early for the white stuff, lol.

Maybe the magic is in wearing his shoes on the wrong feet! LOL. He's all ready to be a big hunter:)

Carol, oh my goodness, I didn't even notice that they were like that in these pictures! He is always putting them on the wrong feet. I do think he likes it better that way, lol!

He is a tough little guy! I wish I could stay in the cold that long! I was just out trying to shovel the snow out of our drive and only lasted 20 minutes with the -6 windchill....my hands were frozen! (And I was wearing mismatched gloves too! LOL!)

Wow! Sounds like it's almost as cold there as it is here. It's been about 10 degrees when we go out for the bus in the mornings this week. Brrr!
