10 Things I learned at the 2:1 Conference

Well, I'm almost two days late a day late for this, but that's how I roll!  I learned so much, but I'm going to narrow it down to 10 things I learned from going to the 2:1 Conference.

  1. I didn't know anyone there, but everyone was very friendly.
  2. Comparison is the death of contentment.
  3. Don't expect your kids to listen to you if you don't listen to God!
  4. There are so many cool blogs that I have never read, but now I will.
  5. I need to get control of my e-mail.
  6. Small communities are better than large audiences.
  7. Raise your children, then release them to God, they are his, not ours.
  8. To step out of my comfort zone. *This will be a hard one for me, I think*
  9. To choose JOY!
  10. Even some of the most important bloggers are nice, down to earth people!
