A Christmas Meme

My friend Paula at The Fraker Farm posted a Christmas Meme the other day and it looked fun, so I thought I would do it too. If you would like to play along, leave a comment so I can come and read yours too.

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate all the way!

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? He just lays them under the tree.

3. Colored light on house/tree or white? I like the look of all white lights on trees, but our my son likes the colored, so that's what we have.

4. Do you hang mistletoe? I used to, haven't been able to find it since we moved.

5. When do you put your decorations up? I usually start putting things up the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but this year it was about a week ago when we did it.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Well, if I can only choose one-Turkey!

7. Favorite holiday memory as a child? Going to visit all my cousins and seeing their decorations and exchanging presents. It's sad that we're not as close anymore.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? What do you mean? He is real!

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes, our family exchanges one gift each on Christmas Eve.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? I let my 11 year old decorate it this year, so the back side has hardly any ornaments, but if he's happy, so am I.

11. Snow. Love it or dread it? I'm from the South, since I hardly ever get any, of course I LOVE it!

12. Can you ice skate? Nope, I would totally hurt myself.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? It was a Cabbage Patch doll when I was little.

14. What is the most important thing about the holidays for you? Celebrating Christ's birth!

15. What is your favorite holiday dessert? Everything, but if I must pick, it's Chocolate pie.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Picking a charity or person to give a special present to.

17. What tops your Christmas tree? An angel.

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Giving, I like to make people happy.

19. What is your favorite Christmas song? I love The First Noel.

20. Candy Canes. Yum or Yuck? Yummy, most any kind.

21. What do you want for Christmas? I would love to have a Flip Ultra video camera to record my children with.

22. Do you attend an annual Christmas party? Yes.

23. Do you dress up for Christmas Eve or wear PJ's? Probably my Mickey PJ's.

24. Do you own a Santa hat? Of course, but it's a Santa Mickey hat.

25. Who do you normally spend Christmas with? Usually it's just me, the hubby and the kids.
