It Snowed!

All of my bloggy friends who live where it snows a lot, know I have been jealous of the snow y'all have. This morning I woke up to my own winter wonderland! Well, it was only 4 inches, but we live in SC, so we'll take whatever we can get.

We bundled up everyone and went outside to play a little. Let me say, OH my goodness, it was so cold. It didn't take long for me to want to go back inside and get warm!

My oldest was trying to hit everyone with snowballs. He loves the snow!

The little one wasn't quite sure what to think. He did love crunching the snow under his shoes. I think he liked the snow, because later he asked to go back outside.

The guineas were a little unsure also, mostly staying on the top of the run.

The chickens didn't want to come out of the coop. They finally came out a little, but didn't go very far.

The freezing cold temperatures made me glad, it's usually not like this. I'll try not to be jealous any more of my northern friends. In fact, I feel a little bit of sympathy for y'all!

Wow, I wish we had snow here in MD. It would make the cold more tolerable!

Hello, Congratulations on getting some snow and getting to have that experience with the kids. Being that I work outside I do not envy those with snow at all. Being a native Florida girl I have never seen snow. I have traveled North but, never during winter.

The thing is (I used to live in SC), that when it snows there, you just don't have warm clothing. When you live somewhere that it snows a lot (Ohio for us now) you buy warmer stuff and it doesn't feel so cold. I only remember a few times we ever got snow growing up, now I would gladly give it to you any time you want!

You've had more than we have in NJ this year. We've only had about an inch. My boys are just begging for snow!
