Beach Trip Day 1

My family and I were invited to Ocean Isle Inn by the general manager, Lee. He wanted us to see how great his place is in person. We were welcomed with open arms by some very friendly staff. Later, I met Lee, and he is an awesome guy, very friendly! He has made some wonderful suggestions on things to do. I hope to be able to take advantage of some of them. One of the great things about Ocean Isle Inn is that they have free wi-fi. So, I can blog, facebook, and twitter while on vacation.

I'll tell y'all all more about the Inn later. Now, I want to share some more pictures of the fun we've been having. After getting settled in our room yesterday, we went to the beach. My husband helped our youngest son build a sandcastle. Then, Hunter promptly tore it down. But, he had a good time doing it!

Me and Mitchell played in the waves. There were some pretty strong ones out there. One big wave hit us and we both went under and there were a lot of seashells where we fell. I got scrapes on my knee and leg from those seashells and Mitchell got scraped on his tummy. Nothing too bad, we got up and did it again!

We also walked on the beach for a little bit. Hunter wasn't too sure about the waves, so he tried to stay on dry sand. Hopefully, after awhile, he won't feel so scared. He loves throwing sand around, though and he's not too good at throwing. It usually ends up on his head, lol!

Well, we're getting ready to hit the beach again, I'll post more later!

Looks like loads of fun Nancy - it's been years since I've felt the waves rolling over me. Hope you all continue to have a wonderful time and please share more pictures. The scenery is beautiful.
