Addicted
Hi! My name is Nancy, and I have a problem. I'm addicted to the games on Facebook. I tried not to play them, and I even stopped for awhile, but they lured me back. I can't stop trying to beat my best score.
I believe I must have an addictive personality. Once I start something, I can't seem to stop. It's happened before. A long time ago, my husband and I went to a casino. I had planned to only spend a certain amount of money, but when that money was spent, I had to spend more! It was like I couldn't stop myself. I've also been addicted to Tetris on my phone. I have issues, people!
Now, I am addicted to those stupid games on Facebook. How do I stop? Maybe I just need to go cold turkey? Anyone have any ideas for me? I need to stop these addictions. If only I could become addicted to cleaning, my house would be spotless, lol

Don't fight it , just go with it.
Hiya Nancy, at least this is a healthy addiction. You aren't hurting anyone. I am addicted to blogging, I work my schedule around blogging. Your to sweet, just hang in there, and try to stay strong if you truly want to quit playing the games spend more time blogging or renting movies.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Heidi
Ha ha! I like your line "if only I could be addicted to cleaning..."
You and a LOT of my friends seem to share this affliction, maybe you could form a support group!
Hahaha! I don't think you are alone in your Facebook addiction. I stay away from it, but I am addicted to blogging! Yikes!
I can't help with this Nancy, because I think I'm one of the only people in the country who doesn't have a Facebook page...or want one.
Cold turkey is the only way to go.
Nancy glad you came by today for a visit. Thank you for signing up for Disney Sunday can't wait, your posts are always so wonderful. Have a great rest of your weekend. Tell your son he can always stop by Destinys blog, and the wee little one is going to be 10 Isbael shes got a blog, Destiny is 12 but send em over I think it's a great way for kids to talk, to other kids.
Blessings,
Heidi
I never play those games--I use facebook to keep in touch with friends and family. I don't know what to say about the "addiction"--sometimes it is good to have a fun down time....perhaps you could put a timer on and when it rings you shut it off no matter what and if you don't then the next day you don't let yourself play.
Hun.. FaceBook games aren't an actual addiction. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway! LOL!
I just look at it as a way to unwind ( you would think I would be unwound by NOW, wouldn't you?)
Maybe you should set up a game for all of us addicts, where we could win game points and coins for housecleaning! I would join in a New York minute!!
LMAO!
I am addicted too!!! Sometimes when I get away from the computer for a while I am less reluctant to jump right in.
Well sweet friend, I AM addicted to cleaning! Ha!
I just can't help myself. I rarely sit still - even when I am on line, I am doing cleaning on the side.
Love you!
haha! I feel ya.
LOL!! Me too. First Farkle. Now Combine. *sigh* I'd get so much done if I didn't have these urges to outdo my own score ;)
I too am addicted and I'm so bad that I got the hubby and son to sign up just so I could play their games. So now I must go find you on facebook so I can play with you. hehe
HEY! I finally got your comment link to work for me! Thanks for visiting my blog for Disney Sunday, that is so much fun! You have a really cute blog. Kerrie
But cleaning the house isn't nearly as much fun! I remember when I had a clean house, before blogging and Facebook and Twitter.
