Thankful Thursday

Thankful Thursday at Truth 4 the Journey

Today I am joining in with Sonya from Truth 4 The Journey in her Thankful Thursday.  I want to be more intentional in remembering the things I am thankful for.  So here's a partial list of the things I am thankful for this week.

  1. I am thankful for my 2 wild boys. They are a handful, but I love them so!
  2. I am thankful for my husband who provides for our family so I can stay at home with my 2 blessings.
  3. I am thankful that I am always with my children and that I am able to homeschool them.
  4. I am thankful to be able to live in the country, where I have wanted to since I was a little girl.
  5. I am thankful for the Lord helping me to become a better help meet to my husband. I've still got a long way to go, but with his help, I can get there.
What are you thankful for this week?

Hi Nancy, This is a great list. I am thankful for my husband and the peaceful place that we live in and for blogging friends who I get to "talk" with each day!

Oh Nancy where do I begin? Should I begin? Lol well let me start by saying what a wonderful post. I love to be reminded of the things in my life I cherish the most, and thank the Lord for the gifts hes sent down to me.

This week I am thankful my youngest Isabel is okay. She is in cross country and yesterday while at the park with her team and the coach there and others who were suppose to be supervising a man approached three children and tried to get them to get into his vehicle. WOW yes I know I was so upset when I heard this, and when I heard it, the news was sent threw a letter from the school. There are only about 30 kids in cross country and thats an over estimate. They didn't even have the decentcy to call and let the families know. The cops were called an investigation happened they found the man, and he got off because he had no priors, he was 60 years old and even admitted to trying to get the children into his car. What is wrong with this world I ask? I am thankful my daughter did not get took, she is the smallest one out there and it really worried me, and I am thankful that the children were smart enough to not get into this mans vehicle. I am thankful that I prayed all night long for the Lord to hear my cry and answer my prayer that my daughter will be safe to conitnue with cross country, the pray was answered this morning when the school said cross country will no longer be held at the part, they are wanting the safety of the children to be first priority and will start practice at the school. YES which should've been done in the first place.

Sorry I know I shouldn't have went off. I apologize, but this is what I am thankful for today :0)
now I am off to sleep then to write an essay lol. What a week huh?

Blessings to you and your beautiful boys and husband,
Heidi
