New Camera and More Snow
I finally got a new camera and it's pink, my favorite color! I'm trying to get used to it, so I'm sure these pictures could be better, if I understood all the settings.
It snowed here! Isn't it funny how I drove to go see the snow, and this time it came to me? We ended up getting about 4 inches. It was beautiful and it was quick, now it's all gone.
Usually you don't see chickens having fun out in the snow, but ours seemed to love it!
We also got to make some delicious snow cream.
They said most of North and South Carolina got snow and that 49 of the 50 states saw snow. Did it snow where you are?

Yay! Glad you got some snow! I have NEVER made snow cream... but I grew up in Louisiana so we didn't see a lot of snow. I could probably make it by the gallon this year.
it snowed here the first year we moved in..none since...we are not quite in the right altitude...but it was fun.....
So glad you got a new camera, Nancy!
It is snowing here again today. We alreaddy had over 2 foot on the ground. I think we are to get 2-4 more.
I am very happy for you and your new camera ~~~wink, wink~~~ But Please keep the snow down south of here....or north of here or west of here.....maybe east of here will work!!!! We will never see the dirt again!!
I love the pictures!!!!!!
I do love the pics of the chickens in the snow!
Love your photos-and I'm glad you got snow!! We've still got snow-and its flurried throughout the day.
It snowed about the most it's ever snowed so far today! We got a few inches at least today, so we stayed in the house for most of it! I just got the my book in the mail today! Just wanted to let you know, and then say "Thank You" again! I'd like to read a little of it tonight, before the Olympics start... I LOVE to watch the skating, and snowboarding might be fun to watch tonight too.. We'll see!... Anyways, have fun with your new PINK camera!! Your pictures look great as far as I can see!! ((hugs)) ~tina
Hey, the photos are looking good, so keep on playin' with that little pink camera!
I heard the other day (Feb 15th) that ALL fifty states had snow, since the found some at the top of Mauna Kea in Hawaii! Is this weird weather, or what?
We're on the cool side here, (I have a sweater on today) but further up the state, they're sweltering with high temps, and humidity of 76%!
Yay for your new camera Nancy- now you'll be snapping away at everything! ;)
The snow is pretty but I'm SO ready for spring... and my Silkies are scared to death of it. They won't even go outside!!
We had 4 inches also, it was lovely.
NEW CAMERA .... I'm excited for you!!
OMGosh Nancy, your photos are pristine! Wow, such vivid colors. Yes, we got snow and are still getting snow here in southeast Ohio. You should consider selling your photos gal, especially those adorable chickens:) Thanks for sharing. Hugs~Carol
We've got snow, too, and I just put the pictures up. Your chickens had a lot more fun than I did in the snow. My new camera is blue. I'm enjoying it a lot.
You will love your new camera! These pictures of the chickens enjoying the snow are just great! We had about 4" snow too and it was gone the next day.
That's a lot of snow in the states! Hard to believe you have snow and we are melting here!!
Enjoy it :)
We finally got snow yesterday after a pretty mild Winter so far in NH. Love all your pictures! Happy WW!
Yay! A new camera! You're doing a great job with it too!
We got 5" over here. And then it rained. It's all gone now. So I'm ready for some warmer temperatures.
Enjoy the new camera! I loved it when I got mine last year! :-)
We have snow-it's a given here in Michigan ;-)

Thanks for sharing-

Tracy :)
we made snow cream last year (December) and kids loved it. You should post a recipe. I thought you did but can't recall. I love your pics, the white bird (wings spread) looks as if she's just loving it.
