Giveaway and Review- Exergen TemporalScanner

Exergen Corporation

I was recently given the opportunity to review the Exergen TemporalScanner. It's an infrared thermometer that takes a reading from the temporal artery. It gets a more accurate temperature than any other way. It accurately registers body temperature to within +0.2 degrees.  It's also less invasive and quicker. All you do is swipe it across the forehead.

My 2 year old son loves this thermometer. He kept asking me to check his temperature again and again. To check his temperature I push the button to turn it on, and then hold the button down while I run it from the middle of his forehead to the side. Then it gives me his temperature. I checked it several times and it was the same each time.

Exergen Corporation

I love how simple it is to use. I can even check his temperature while he sleeps since all it does is sweep across his forehead. It only takes seconds! I also like how it takes a 9 volt battery instead of a hard to find button type battery.

The Exergen TemporalScanner is sold at Wal Mart, Walgreens, and other stores nationwide. Prices start around $30 and there is a $5 rebate here.  You can also find them on Facebook.

I like that it takes ambient temperature into account. That's pretty cool! Plus it looks so fast!

Hi Nancy!

I'd love to be entered! I love the fact that it can be done while a child is sleeping without waking them. I can't tell you how many restless nights I had (and made my kids have) by waking them to check their temp!

Thanks!
Tammy

Okay, another comment to let you know that I sure thought I was a follower before, but I am for sure now... :)

This would come in handy with getting ready to have a 2 year old in the house!

Hi Nancy!~I love that it is very simple to use & painless, what more could a parent want??? Plus you can use it while they are asleep or awake, which is really great for those parents who have children who are fidgity, or maybe even afraid of having their temperature taken.
