Book Review- The Chronological Guide To The Bible

While reading the Bible this year, I kept noticing how different books repeated the same things from previous books.  I learned that was because they were written from different points of view.  But, still I wasn't sure which order they all went in, until I received The Chronological Guide To The Bible.

This book divides the Bible into epochs from creation to the end of times.  Each epoch has summaries of the books of that time period, an outline of events from that book, and a time capsule with dates of these events.

One of the things I like are the maps and pictures that are included.  They really helped to keep my attention.  The Chronological Guide To The Bible can be used as a guide to go along with your own Bible.  It should work with any translation.  Another thing I like is how they explain how Biblical accounts fit in with scientific finds.

I have only read the Bible all the way through one time, so I'm no expert, but I think the information in this book is very helpful.  It put things into perspective, giving me an idea of what each epoch was like at the time.  I think The Chronological Guide To The Bible would be a good resource for anyone to go along with reading the Bible.

I was sent The Chronological Guide To The Bible from Book Sneeze in exchange for a review.
