Today I turned 40! The big 4-0! How depressing is that? I feel old. People call me ma'am and Mrs. Aren't I still too young for that? In the Halloween costumes this year they have an 80's party girl costume. That was when I grew up. Isn't it too soon for that to be a period costume? I sure don't think I act 40. I still feel young at heart most days.
I have heard some people say life only gets better with age. Man, I hope they are right! I need something to look forward to! Right now I just feel tired and a little depressed. Maybe tomorrow will be better!
After all ... Tomorrow is another day.

Old ... not !!
I'm 53 and not even looking back. Would not want to be in my 20's these days. Now I look for retirement in 15 years.

As far as the 80's, my daughter was born in 94 and when she was about 5-6 she would ask us how we did things back in the 80's like it was 100's of years ago! The 80's are back in style!

Enjoy it ,each age has it's own rewards .
I turned 51 back on August 7,th and I thought the world had come to an end as my body is changing rapidly ,but than I realized every day is a great gift from God and every age offers more opportunities to become all we were created to become in the first place :)
So bottom line girlfriend celebrate ,enjoy and live it up it is your day so make the most of it !

Guess I missed your birthday yesterday..wish I was 40 again..good times..almost 60 now..you're only as old as you feel and act...I've met some old people in their 80s who seemed very young and some young people who were acted very old so its all on how you look at it.....attitude is everything!
