Go Team!

When I was in high school, every Friday night you would find me at our school's football games.  I loved cheering our team on to victory.   Well I've been out of school for......forever now, lol and hadn't been to a game since then.

My cousin/adopted daughter, AJ, made the middle school cheerleading team this year.  Last night we went to the game to see her cheer.  I totally forgot my camera, so I don't have any pics to show off.  Hopefully, I can get some later.  AJ looked really cute in her uniform and led the girls in cheering.  She was awesome!  I am so glad she's more outgoing than I was at her age!  I would've been too scared to even think about trying out for cheerleading.

It was the first time Mitchell and Hunter had ever been to a football game.  I don't think Mitchell understood the game that good, because he's never really watched football on TV, either.  We sat right in the middle, in front of the cheerleaders and Hunter enjoyed copying their cheers.  He clapped and pumped his fists up in the air trying to copy them.  One of the girls was even flirting with him!  Our team lost the game, but we still had a great time!

My son played football in middle school . . . I would cringe everytime the other Fall Boys would hit him.
God bless your niece and have fun cheerleading.
Blessings,
