Fourteen

Last week we celebrated my oldest son's 14th birthday.  I can't believe he's that old!  How did that happen?

Mitchell wanted a Halo birthday cake, so I attempted to make one for him.  This is how it came out.  Not too great, but he was happy with it, and that's whats important.

He got some great presents such as a game for his DSi, Legos, Mega Bloks, a football, and money!  Who doesn't like money for their birthday?

He invited several of his friends and lots of cousins to the party.

They played video games, jumped on the trampoline, walked around in the woods and had a great time!

Hi Nancy! I'm afraid I'm only vaguely familiar with Halo, but I think your cake looks great! A big Happy Birthday, and best wishes to your son Mitchell! ~tina

Happy Belated Birthday to Mitchell!
Your Halo cake looks wonderful Nancy.
I never would have thought of even trying to come up with something like that.

Cool! Happy Birthday! Hey, I know Halo... lol, my 31 year old son plays that game. Just since I've started visiting you Nancy, I've watched your boys grow and change so much. They are a joy, thanks for sharing them:)
