Giveaway- We Choose Virtues Flash Cards

I learned so much from the 2:1 Conference I attended in April. One of those was about this great company called We Choose Virtues.   The program was created by Heather McMillan when she saw a crisis in public school children who couldn't or didn't know how to follow simple tasks.  She developed a list of virtues and catch phrases to go with them.  Also each one comes with a Bible verse that shows where each character trait is in the Bible.

I was so happy to get the Faith Based Family Kit to review.  I have been having the hardest time getting my youngest to follow directions and not whine.  I know it's all my fault for not training him better, however this is a huge help with his our issues!  So far he has really enjoyed learning a few virtues.  He also likes the coloring pages and loves to tell me what they are doing while he colors.  I like that the program is fun for my kindergartner and he gets to learn much needed character traits.

Another good thing is it doesn't just state what the virtue is, it also tells what the virtue isn't.  For example for being attentive, it lists things not to do like getting distracted or interrupting others.  I think that helps kids to understand a little better by having that example.

This is going to become part of our homeschool for this year.  Even my high school student can stand to learn a few things from We Choose Virtues.
