Brotherly Love

My 2 1/2 year old son is a mess!  He'll drive me insane one moment, then the next make me laugh out loud.  Just tonight we were going somewhere, just my hubby, me, and Hunter.  He got so mad because his bro bro wasn't going with us.  He wanted so bad for us to take his brother, he started screaming.  I think it's so wonderful that he loves his older brother so much.  I'm pretty sure he loves him more than he loves my husband or I.  I hope he always feels that way!

Mitchell usually loves him too, unless he's stealing toys from him, lol!  Here lately, he's actually been inviting his little brother into his room, voluntarily!  He lets Hunter play video games with him, jump on the trampoline with him, and go outside and play with him.  It's so cute they arm themselves with all their toy guns and go out play fighting.

It was a big adjustment for Mitchell at first to go from being an only child for 10 years to having  a little brother.  I am so proud of how loving he is being to Hunter!  Don't get me wrong, they still fight sometimes.  Depends on the day, lol!  I will just try to remember the good days more than the bad!

They are both such a joy and I am happy they enjoy one another. These pictures are so good - are they with the new camera?

It is so good to encourage and promote your sons' love for one another, and brotherly love will go a long way for your beloved sons, what a blessing for all of you- the kind of love that in the long run holds one another together for the good.

Good Morning Nancy Sweetie...
Isn't that just the sweetest picture of the two together. The nice thing about having them so far apart, they won't both grow up and leave at the same time. You will still have one behind.

I believe all kids love their brothers and sisters, but they still fight. It must be part of the circle of life or something. I watched my kids and now I watch my grandkids do the same things. Even the youngest two that are 4 and 2 fight with each other.

Have a beautiful day sweetie and thanks so much for sharing. Both boys are so handsome.

Country hugs and much love...Sherry

That is so sweet! It's so neat to see how well they get along even with the age difference. What's funny is mine are 15 months apart and they seem to act the exact same way! LOL!

That's so sweet! Love this post and the pics! My two sons are 2 yrs and 6 days apart! Best of buds most days but then some days all they do is beat each other up! I think it's a boy thing! They both enjoy ganging up on their big sister too, she is 7 they are 3/5 and 18mos ... they always win too!

Happy Thursday to you!

Oh, wow.. 10 years IS a bit of an age difference, but I can relate. My two are 6 years apart. That kind of space has it's pros and cons, but doesn't everything?!!! Love the family pics, Nancy! Both of them look like great kids, and it does my own heart good to hear they do so well together! ~tina

Cute boys! I hope they will always be close and be there for each other as they get older.

It's good to have an older brother to hang out with.

Take Care

Nothing like brotherly love. It is wonderful as they get to be adults--I love the relationship my kids have.

hopefully they stay that loving to one another. My oldest is 10 years older than his baby brother and that worried me at first as well, but they get along great....well most days.
