Last weekend, it started hurting really bad and it kept getting worse all this week, until I couldn't take it any more. I couldn't even lay down because when I did, it felt like my mouth exploded.
On Thursday, after calling lots and lots of dentists, I found one I could afford to go to. My husband took me on Friday to get it taken care of. I am so happy I found an affordable dentist not too far away. Since yesterday, I have only felt some soreness. But, the medicine they gave me has made me sleepy, so I haven't done much.
Hopefully next week, I'll be back in the swing of things!

Oh Nancy, I've been there, and I know there's nothing much, if anything, I can think of WORSE than a toothache! I'm glad to hear the dentist could help you, and I hope you're feeling better soon! ~tina
There is nothing worse than a toothache...I had one to abcess many years ago! My own doctor was "booked" and could not see me so I had to find another one....I pray I never have another toothache like that one!

Toothache pain is in the same family as childbirth! So sorry to hear you're suffering. Hopefully they gave you some antibiotics as well...sounds like an abcess....Sue
Bless your heart, Nancy! I know how you feel! Just recently I went through the same thing. We have a little dental insurance and it was still outrageous (in my opinion). I had to have a root canal and it was a bad experience. The pain medicine was almost as bad on me as the pain. I'm glad that's behind me.
I'll say a prayer for you that your pain is gone for good...toothaches are no fun!

Im so sorry to hear about your toothache! I know thats no fun, I hope you start feeling better soon!
Oh wow I always get scared when I hear things like this. My hubby's cousin died from a tooth that was absessed (spelling?). He had it worked on and was put on antibiotics but the antibiotics were not strong enough. Don't ever wait when you have a painful tooth!!! Take care!
Yikes nothing like a toothache! And the no insurance-same here. Thats what we do-stand the pain till it either goes away or gets so bad you don't care what it costs : ) Glad you found the affordable dentist.
